The arrival of Wildlife Madagascar’s first vehicle marks an exciting and important milestone for the growing organization. Thanks to the incredible generosity of a very special donor, the team at La Mananara now has a Land Rover that will help reach remote communities while advancing its conservation, reforestation, education, and research programs.

La Mananara is located near the town of Anjozorobe, approximately four hours northeast of Antananarivo. Reliable transport in this region is essential for connecting the field station with the surrounding communities and forests that Wildlife Madagascar works to protect.
Wildlife Madagascar is also deeply grateful to partner Edward Tucker Brown of Madagascar Classic Collection, who managed every step of the process, from selecting and shipping the Land Rover to carefully refurbishing it for its new life in Madagascar.
And just as the team arrived to pick it up, a rainbow appeared in the sky, the perfect sign that many amazing adventures and accomplishments lie on the road ahead.
